Winthrop House will present "Yeoman of the Guard" as its third annual Gilbert and Sullivan production April 13 and 14, the House committee announced last night.
Search has begun for 15 to 20 Radcliffe girls who look "like 16th century coquettes" and who can sing either in lead roles or in the chorus. Male talent is being recruited in the House. Tryouts are scheduled for Wednesday, February 7.
Norman R. Shapiro '51 will conduct the performances in the Winthrop common room. Bruce R. Recker '52 and David N. Shapiro '51 will manage the production.
In the past two years, the House has presented "Pinafore" and "Trial by Jury."
