Three College experts will supply information about the kinds of scholarships open to students at a Student Council Forum tonight. The meeting starts at 8 p.m. in the Lamont Forum Room.
Dean Bender will talk about graduate scholarships and fellowships that the College gives for study and travel abroad. Fulbright Scholarships will be covered by John U. Monro, assistant to the Provost, and Samuel H. Beer, associate professor of Government, will speak on Rhodes Scholarships.
The forum is the first for this year in continuance of the several meetings on different topics held by the Council during 1950-51.
Last year students at the University won 71 Fulbright Scholarships for study abroad. This figure represents approximately one-tenth of the total awarded in the nation.
Information about Rhodes Scholarships appears in the Notice Column.
