One thousand forty six men and 64 women have applied for the 114 places in next year's freshman class at the Medical School as of November 20, admissions officers said last night. The number of applicants represents an increase of ten over last year's figure at this time.
The draft, stopped up since last year, seems to have had no effect on the number of students eligible for medical school and graduate study.
