'Acts of God' Delay Registration

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Despite "the smoothest registration ever," occasional bunching of students created long lines at Memorial Hall yesterday; however, Registrar Sargent Kennedy '28 reported that the railroad strike probably caused serious gaps in the over-all length of the line.

Kennedy said that students who are late to register because of the strike or any other "act of God" will not be punished.

The staff of registration tabulators will not finish counting the students who appeared yesterday until about noon today. Kennedy said he didn't keep them working overtime last night because he didn't think the results of the counting would be "interesting enough" to warrant it.

As far as he know, Kennedy thought the new streamlined registration procedure worked well.
