Guest lecturer Thornton Wilder, Norton Professor of Poetry, has made Humanities 2 the most popular elective course given this term. Registrar Sargent Kennedy '28 announced yesterday that 438 Harvard and Radcliffe students are enrolled in the course, an increase of 170 over last year.

Economics 1, the most popular elective during the last two years, has dropped to second place with an enrollment just one short of Humanities 2.

In third place is Math 1b with 408 students. Social Science 2 ranks fourth with 395. In fifth and sixth place are Government 1b and Social Relations 1b with 394 and 382 students respectively.

The largest course in the University is still English A, which is required for 837 College and Annex freshmen.
