Blood Solicitors Begin Canvassing University

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Blood Solicitors from Phillips Brooks House yesterday began calling on House and Yard residents to donate to the spring term blood drive from April 23 to April 27. Some of the 250 P.B.H. volunteers also asked students in the graduate dining halls to be donors.

Spring football candidates will even get a day off from practice to contribute blood, Coach Lloyd Jordan announced yesterday.

The Red Cross will set up a blood-mobile with ten beds in Memorial Hall, Gil Eisner '53, chairman of the Campaign, said yesterday. Last fall the bloodmobile used P.B.H. rooms, but the addition of two beds to the unit necessitated the use of Memorial Hall's larger capacity this time.
