Helen Maud Cam, the first and only woman to hold a full professorship at Harvard, is now working in Cambridge on a history of Cambridge--thousands of miles from her subject matter. Miss Cam, Zemurray-Stone Professor, hopes to submit her book on Cambridge, England, to her publisher by the end of September.

The book is part of the series, the Victoria History of the Counties of England.
