Dunster's mysterious tombstone disappeared today the same way it came, shrouded in secrecy.
Authorities from the Watertown Cemetery inspected the monument which showed up in Dunster courtyard Monday night. They denied it was theirs.

Gordon M. Fair, Dunster Housemaster, stood solidly behind his superintendent, and declined to shed further light on the mystery. He really didn't know anything about it, he said.
