Dave Lee did the 100 yard dash in 10.5 seconds to win this event for the Elephants. Fritz Drill and Jerry Blitz, both of Winthrop, came in second and third.
The 880 yard run was won by George Williams of Lowell in 2:76. Dunster's Murphy placed second.
Winthrop swept the mile relay, with John Ederer, Dave Cudea, Ralph Getz, and Fritz Drill running. Ederer also won the 220 low hurdles. No one rivalled his lead from the start.
