HARRIS BURNS, JR. '54, colorbearer of R.O.T.C. Battery C, accepts a streamer for highest scholastic rating from Colonel CHARLES P. SUMMERALL, JR, professor of Military Science and Tactics. The occasion for the presentation was the final review of both Army and Air Force R.O.T.C. units yesterday on the Business School field. Another streamer was awarded Battery B for the best disciplinary record.
During the same drill 39 graduates of the two Army and Air Force units were commissioned as second lieutenants in the respective services. Six Army platoons competed in a military drill which was won by Platoon Two of Battery C.
