NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Ralph Barton Perry, professor of Philosophy emeritus, will be the principal speaker before the Phi Beta Kappa Society on June 18. Perry will deliver his speech, entitled "The Troubled Citizen," at 11 a.m. in Sanders Theatre.

This will be one of the few recent public appearances of the famed philosopher. Perry retired from his position in 1946 at the age of 70. Two years, earlier, he had been honored at commencement with an honorary degree.

On the same program, William Carlos Williams, author and poet, will render his poem "Desert Music." The program is open to the public.
