January Exams Cut For First Year Men

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

First year men won't have to take a final exam until June this year.

The finals, previously given in January will be replaced by a series of quizzes throughout the term.

Business School officials changed the exam system for first year men in order to make grading less of a "one shot" matter, establish a steady workload throughout the whole term, and to leave more time for case work.

In past years, only Production operated on the four quizzes per term against a final exam plan.

In another course change announcement, the Dean's Office revealed that Public Relations and Responsibilities will begin the week of January 3 instead of in February; Finance will begin October 27; and Administrative Practices will start November 12.
