Yearling Soccer Team Plays Winless Tufts

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Overconfidence is the only thing that can spoil the undefeated freshman soccer team's chances today when they meet the Tufts yearlings at 2 p.m. on the Business School field.

The Jumbos have yet to score a goal this season and have lost to both Medford and Belmont high schools. Tufts Coach Russ DeBurlow said last night that his team can pass well and play hard, but is not yet playing as a unit. Halfbacks George Pineo and John Lamberto stand out on the Jumbo roster, which includes four native South Americans.

The only change in Harvard Coach Poley Guyda's usual starting lineup will have Charlie Fitzgerald in for John Bigelow at center half. The team worked on fundamentals yesterday before finishing up with a light scrimmage.
