Edna Adele Gilmore '53 of Cabot Hall and Quincy appeared to have defeated four other candidates for the presidency of Radcliffe's Student Government, according to unofficial tabulations late last night of over 700 ballots cast during the last three days.

In the closest election since the war, Nancy Barrow of Bertram Hall was running second, with a few ballots yet to be counted. Holly Walker of Moors Hall was third. Balloting was preferential, with three points given to a first place vote, two points for second, and one for third.

Results of the elections for vice-president, secretary, and sophomore member of Student Government, and N.S.A. delegate and treasurer will be announced at 1 p.m. today at a meeting of the Annex student body in Agassiz Hall.
