Dorsey Leads '55 Lacrosse Scoring; Whedon is Second

Only one point separated the top two scorers on the freshman lacrosse team, according to figures released yesterday by the Athletic Association.

Creaseman Jim Dorsey won final scoring honors with 30 points, while attackman Tom Whedon ended the season with 29, Dorsey punched home 22 goals, high for the squad, John Taylor, the '55 team's feeder, was tops in assists with 13.

Tim Anderson, rugged midfielder, tallied 16 goals, exceptionally high for a muddiner. Anderson finished third in the seeing race, with 19 points. Another middiner fielder, Pete Palches, with 11 points, was the only other Yardling to top ten.
