Dudley and Leverett opened the House intramural soccer season with victories yesterday afternoon at Soldiers Field.
Leverett won over Adams 2 to 0, scoring twice in the first five minutes. After early scores by Charles Webb and Guy Pascahl, Bunny goalie Dick Simmons stood off the repeated rushes of the erratically passing Gold Coasters.
Dudley, ranked the team to beat in House soccer, won by forfeit over Eliot.
The other four Houses will continue play this afternoon, with Kirkland meeting Winthrop and Lowell playing Dunster.
Dudley and Lowell looked best in practice before the season started and are the favorites this year.
