The freshman baseball team will seek its fifth straight victory of the season today at 3 p.m. when it facon Exeter at soldiers Field.
Art Kessler, who pitched the Yardlings to a 16-to-6 win ever Northeastern Monday, will start on the mound.
Newly-elected captain Joe Crehole will start at third base. Need Fulton will play first, Larry Dobbs second, and Art Murray shortstop.
BillCleary, Bob Gebelein and John Getch will start at outfield posts, and Being Cronby is scheduled to catch.
Pitching Strong
Although the team has suffered from little practice because of had weather. Coach Adolph Samborski considers it "definitely well-balanced" with reserve strength at every position.
Pitching is particularly strong, with seven hurlers available. Ken Rossano, Potter Palmer, and Kessler have started, and Samborski can also call on Felton, Jim Fitzgibbons and Roger Golde.
The Yardlings opened the season with a 7-to-6 triumph over Governor Drummer. Besides the win over Northeastern, the nine has trimned MIT, 7 to 1, and Brown, 15 to 2.
