Phillips Brooks House has centralized its clothing, blood, and charity drives in the hands of a 12-member committee, it was learned yesterday.

The creation of the group will eliminate the need for P.B.H. to find a new chairman for each drive during the year. A permanent group of house solicitors will also be set up to conduct the campaigns.

Eight of the 12 undergraduates on the committee are form the Houses, two are from Radcliffe, and two represent the Yard. Each of the House representatives will command his own staff of regular entry collectors, who will solicit for every drive.

As the scheduled time comes for each campaign, two members of the 12-man committee will be responsible for its over-all direction the drives will rotate among the committee members. A permanent chairman for the group has yet to be appointed.

The Combined Charities Drive is the only one to retain a permanent chairman. Under the new system, he will be able to rely on the House solicitors group and will not be forced to enroll special campaign workers.
