Crimson Debaters to Oppose Yale Tonight

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Crimson debaters will uphold the negative against Yale tonight on the topic: "Resolved, That the U.S. government should require immediate compliance with the Supreme Court decision outlawing segregation in the nation's public schools." The debate will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Emerson D.

"This debate is of unusual timeliness because the Supreme Court begins hearings Monday on briefs about the same topic," said Ralph 1. Petersberger '55, Debate Council president. Three other Crimson debates will simultaneously uphold the affirmative in the other half of the informal Oxford style match at New Haven.

The Crimson does not meet Yale again until the Big Three debate in the spring.
