Wellesley Bicycle Race Entries Due

Entries for the annual Harvard-Wellesley Bike Race are now being accepted, Corning Benton trip director of the Harvard Outing Club, announced yesterday. Applications will be accepted in the House dining halls during the coming two weeks.

This year's race includes four classes, with handicaps awarded to entrants in all but the racing class. The remaining three classes are touring, American, and tandem. The tandem class is being run for the second time in the club's history.

Winner of the race will he awarded a new bicycle, while nine other top ranking contestants will receive prizes.

The race as usual will be run over a predominantly uphill 16 mile course, starting on the Boston aide of Charles River, near Harvard Stadium.

Junior Al Chandler won last year's race in the racing bike division.
