Varsity Ten Favored To Top Weak Trinity; '57 to Face Dummer

The varsity lacrosse team meets Trinity at 2 p.m. at Hartford this afternoon, in what will probably be the Crimson's last breather contest of the season.

The Hilltoppers have no coach and operate on much the same basis as the Crimson rugby team. They do have several experienced attack men, however--George Lunt, high scorer at Deerfield three years ago, and Pete Carlough, an all-New Englander from Mount Hermon, who serves as undergraduate coach. But the squad as a whole should be no match for the Crimson.

With the Yale game coming up Saturday, varsity coach Bruce Munro will try to spare his regulars as much as possible. Tom Crump, Dexter Lewis, and John Lane probably won't play at all because of minor injuries. Don Dawidoff and John Howard, reserve attackmen who have seen very little action, should play most of the game today.

Bob Pickett's freshman squad meets undefeated Governor Dummer at 3:45 p.m. on the Business School Field. The regular lineup should start, with Marc Rhine, goalie; Dave Newhall, Les Moulton, Brewster Righter, defense; Mike Holmes, Barry Saxe, and Mike Durham, midfield; and Ed Ansin, Gib Gerry, and Stan Yassukovich, attack.
