$2,000,000 Grant for Colleges Announced by General Motors

Harlow H. Curtico, President of General Motors, yesterday announced a $2,000,000 annual program to aid 306 colleges and universities throughout the country. Although the amount of aid given to each institution was not revealed, it was considered certain that the University would share in the grant.

The G.M. program includes a fund that would provide individual scholarships ranging from $800 to $2,000 a year for students all over the country.
