The New Hampshire freshmen took an error-ridden victory over the J. V. baseball team Saturday at their home field in Durham. The Crimson made four miscues, the winners five.

Barry Wasserman started for the visitors, but was relieved in the fifth by Bill Congleton, who pitched shutout ball for the last four innings. The J. V.'s scored two unearned runs in the second and added a third in the seventh. New Hampshire clinched the game with a single run in the fourth after rallying for three in the third.
