Williams' top three players did not drop a set as they led the Eph tennis team to a 5 1/2-3 1/2 victory over the varsity yesterday in Williamstown. The loss was the Crimson's seventh of the season and second straight in league competition.

Each team received a half point because the varsity had to catch a train with the score tied at a set apiece in the third doubles match.

At one, sophomore Bill Cullen, playing first, who gave North Carolina's star Herb Brown a tough battle before bowing 13-11, 6-3, displayed a powerful serve and sharp net game in downing the Crimson's Ham Gravem.

The freshman tennis team called "one of the best he has ever had" by Coach Cerey Wynn, continued undefeated by beating Williams, 7 to 2. Dale Junta and Larry Flourn each won in doubles and singles in pacing the team to its fourth win.

The varsity meets Dartmouth today at 3:45 on the Soldiers Field courts in its eighth league match. The Crimson will be favored to win by a small margin.
