Fencers Open Against Trinity

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Eight sophomores will lead a favored Crimson fencing squad against Trinity this Saturday at the I.A.B. "Because we do not expect Trinity to be too strong," Coach Edo Marion explained, "and because these sophomores have shown so much promise, I want to use them in this match so that they can get some experience."

The Trinity match is actually little more than a warm-up for the team's first real challenge the following Saturday against Columbia.

Fencing for the Crimson against Trinity at foil will be: Captain Steve Schneider '56, Cliff Thompson '56, Hubert Hocutt '57, and Mike Klapper '58. At sabre will be: Dave Runnels '58, David Silbert '58, Mitchell Thomas '58, and Art Steinberg '58. The epee team will consist of: Bill Pierskalla '56, Bob Adair '58, Bill Chapple '58, and Peter Boyce '58.
