In house hockey action last night, the two league leaders met defeat but still held on to their positions as front-runners. Lowell defeated first-place Kirkland 1 to 0 while Dunster whipped second-place Leverett 5 to 2. In other games, Adams beat Winthrop 4 to 2, and Dudley and Eliot played to a 3 to 3 tie.
