Dartmouth's Egil Stigum led a potent Green ski team to victory Sunday in the annual Harvard-Bromley Invitation Slalom Meet at Peru, Vt., as the varsity finished fourth out of a field of six.

Stigum flashed down the slightly icy slope in 1:12.4, just ahead of Tom Burns of Middlebury. The Panthers came in second in the meet, 3.5 points behind Dartmouth. Williams was third, 8.3 points ahead of the Varsity.

Captain Pete Churchill turned in the Crimson's best effort, finishing fourteenth in 1:28. Tim Thacher, Jim Graves, Charley Thomas, and Bill Linglebach finished in that order for the varsity. Yale was fifth, followed by M.I.T.

The Crimson's next and final team match is not until April 7, against Princeton and Yale, though some varsity skiers will participate in open meets before then.
