The Crimson's freshman basketball team ended its season Saturday on a rather disappointing note as it bowed to Yale, 77 to 62, in New Haven.

With the Elis ahead at the half, 35-30, the Yardlings put on a brief spurt and took the lead with eight minutes gone in the final period. But led by Bill Bodman, who led both teams in scoring with 27 points, the Blue took the lead for the final time. Coach Bruce Munro's boys could not catch the Elis despite a determined effort by the Crimson squad.

Tom Molumphy of Yale and the Crimson's George Harrington tied for runner-up honors in scoring, with 15 points apiece. The loss to Yale was the final game for the freshmen. Its record for the season was 10-5.
