Crimson Nine Will Oppose Northeastern Here Today

The varsity baseball team, whose 6-4 loss to Princeton on Friday broke an eight game streak, should get back to its winning ways today against Northeastern here at 4 p.m. Dom Repetto will probably start for the Crimson against the Huskies.

The Crimson nine's over all record now stands at eight wins and two losses. Today's encounter will be the Crimson's third in Greater Boston League play, after victories over Boston University and Tufts.

Coach Norm Shepard will make a line-up change against the Huskies, substituting either Tom Bergantino or Tony Markella for Stu Levine at third base. Since Dick Fisher's leg is still hurt, the remainder of the team will stay constant.

Fisher's absence has hurt the team considerably, both offensively and defensively. Shepard described the leading hitter as "our offense who drove in the runs." To replace him, lineup changes were necessitated which proved costly in the Princeton game.
