Hodgkinson to Give First Tobe Lecture

Harold D. Hodgkinson, managing director of Filene's Department Store, will give the first Tobe Lecture on retail distribution this afternoon at 3:40 p.m. in Baker 101. The lectures will be published in a text for use at business schools and colleges.

The lecturer, a former Chairman of the Boston Federal Reserve Bank, will speak on "New Intellect in Retailing."

The seven lectures are directed by Milton Peers Brown II '40, associate professor of Business Administration, and Malcolm P. McNair, Lincoln Filene Professor of Retailing. The series will be given at the Business School this spring by leading businessmen in the distribution field.
