The varsity golf squad will face a strong Amherst team and a weak Tufts squad tomorrow in a triangular match at South Hadley, Mass.
Coach Cooney Weiland's golfers lost their first two matches, but have shown improvement since their 7 to 0 defeat by Navy in their opener. Cornell defeated the Crimson 4 to 3 in a close contest Saturday.
Tom Wheeling will have the number one spot in tomorrow's lineup, followed by Bob Ornstein at two, James Bailey at three, captain Lou Klein at four, Alan Steinert at five, and Perry Driggs, Frank Dodge, or Warren Iliff will hold the sixth and seventh positions on the team.
Each member of the Crimson squad will play a round against a golfer from each of the opposing teams.
The golfers will travel to Pennsylvania on Friday and to Princeton Saturday.
