Yardling Five to Seek Sixth Win of Season; Six to Meet Exeter

The Yardling basketball team will seek its sixth straight win of the season tomorrow, when it meets the University of New Hampshire freshmen at 4:30 p.m. in the I.A.B. The freshmen picked up their third win at the expense of Brown last Monday night when they defeated the Bruins, 71-60.

Exeter will entertain the Yardling hockey team tomorrow on the Exeter rink. The freshman sextet had an undefeated season until their 3-2 loss to Tufts last Tuesday. The Exeter game should give the Yardlings an opportunity to regain the pre-vacation polish they seemed to have lost in the Tufts game.

The freshman squash team will seek their fourth straight win Saturday, when they meet Exeter at 3 p.m. in Hemenway Gymnasium. The Yardlings have previously defeated Army, M.I.T., and Andover.

The Brandeis coaching staff has cancelled the freshman swimming meet, which was to be held in Waltham tomorrow. Brandeis authorities called off the meet for the observation of a religious holiday.

The Brandeis meet is the second freshman swimming meet in a row to be cancelled. Huntington School authorities postponed last Wednesday's meet with the Yardlings because a recent snowstorm caused four-fifths of the Huntington student body to miss school.
