Varsity Stickmen Go For 1-1 Ivy Record

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The varsity lacrosse team will seek to even its Ivy League record at 1-1 when it faces Penn at 3 this afternoon on the Business School Field. The Quakers, usually the weakest team in the Ivy League, held Yale to a 4-2 victory earlier this season.

After a good season start, the varsity hit a slump in recent games. Consecutive losses to Cornell and M.I.T. make it almost imperative that they come through with a good showing this afternoon.

Starting at attacks will be Jerry Pyle, Nick Lamont, and Dave Bohn. The team's high scorer, Bohn, thrust in all four goals against M.I.T. last Wednesday.

Tim Morgan, Dick Parks, and Charlie Devens will probably start at midfield, with John Gould, Tadgh Sweeney, and Dave Birch alternating as the second unit.

The starting defensive combination will be Lanny Keyes, Bron Thayer, and either Ed Tarlov, Mike Adair, or Arnie Margolius. Chris Stone will guard the nets.
