The Combined Charities Drive collected only an estimated $3,350 last night, bringing the present total to nearly $16,000. A spokesman for the Student Council called the effort "very poor," and pointed out that a record night tomorrow would be needed for the Drive to reach its goal of $22,500.

By Tuesday night's confirmed figures, Eliot House was the leading contributor among the Houses with $610.50. Following in second place was Winthrop House, with donations amounting to $500. The lowest total was registered by Claverly, which turned in $169.18.

The class of '64's gift of $1039.25 made the Yard the highest donating area in the College Tuesday night.
