Varsity Meets B.U. Tonight Important Hockey Test

unbeaten B.U. hockey team at Watson Rink tonight for an important test of Crimson hockey for- for the '62-'63 season.

The Terriers will be looking for their win over a Harvard hockey team the final week of the '53-'59 season, Crimson having won the last six .

Harvard has a 1-1 record to date. Cooney Weiland's squad looked organized and somewhat unsure of in losing to the St. Nicholas Hoc- Club, 4-3, last Saturday. But the season displayed fine offensive power downing Colby, 7-1, Wednesday night. Particularly impressive thus far has the line of Bill Lamarche, Barry , and Baldy Smith, which score all three goals against St. Nick's and ped in two more against Colby. , a fine skater and stick handler, develop into the team's leading and playmaker.

Captain Tim Taylor scored twice the White Mules, and the line of , Ike Ikauniks, and Gerry Jorgen- appeared to be working together much than it had against St. Nick's.

defense, Dave Johnston has already why he was an All-America choice last year. In the first two games Johnston has been all over the ice, smothering shots, riding off the opposition forwards, and holding down the point position zone on offense.

B.U. Offense Strong

B.U. has shown plenty of offensive power in its first four games. Against a pretty good Northeastern team Wednesday night the Terriers slapped in six goals, three of them in the first period.

Forward Mike Denihan has been the mainstay of the B.U. attack thus far, with four goals and seven assists on the season.
