Varsity Baseball Nine Should Win Against Cornell

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The varsity baseball team scored twenty-six runs against two opponents this week and was scored on only three times, but still managed to drop one of the contests. This afternoon at 3 p.m. the team takes the field against Cornell, and though there should be a more equitable distribution of runs, the Crimson will probably come out on the high side of the scoring.

The pitchers could well be the same ones that opposed each other for last year's contest against Cornell. Dick Garibaldi is scheduled to start for the Crimson. Last year he beat the Big Red's top hurler, Ray Ratkowski, 3-2 in a very well-fought game.
