Fumbles Give B.C. 13-0 Win Over J.V.

A hard-hitting team from Boston College and five fumbles brought the J.V.'s to a 13-0 loss yesterday, making their season record 1-1.

In what was described as possibly the hardest game of the year, the J.V.'s held the heavier B.C. squad scoreless through the first half. But a third quarter drive, starting with a disputed interference call, brought the Eagles to within two yards of a touchdown.

Harvard held the line for two downs, until B.C. gained the needed inches for a first down. A two yard pass and a successful extra-point kick brought the Eagles a seven point lead.

A fourth quarter fumble and a 24 yard pass brought B.C. its second touchdown. The extra point kick was blocked.
