D. Jansing Baker '66, of Winthrop Hopes and Houston, Texas, and Paul J. Mundis '66, of Lowell House and Wanwatosa, Wisconsin, won the finals of the Ivy League Debate Tournament at Columbia last Saturday.
The two Harvard debators defended the proposition, resolved: That the House Un-American Activities Committee Sould be Abolished.
The pair also tied for best speaker of the tournament, each receiving 76 out of a possible 80 points. Columbia and Yale finished second and third respectively in the tournament, which involves alternately defending and opposing the given proposition.
