Harvard skiers finished high in Class B and Class C slalom races last Saturday at Wildcat Mountain in Gorham, N.H.

Ned finished second in Class C in 109.7 seconds, followed by freshman Sen. Barnes, fourth with a time of 114.1 seconds. The race was won by Jim Little of Dartmouth in 97.5 seconds.

In Class B, Mark Jonsen was fourth in 100.1 seconds. The winner was another Dartmouth skier, Alex Cameron in 91.5 seconds, 13 racers finished out a total of 26 entrants in Class B while there were only 13 finishers from a field of 54 to Class C. A scheduled downhill event was cancelled because of poor conditions.

Class B consists of those skiers who averaged within 10 per cent of the winning Class B time over three races this year. Times for five races were needed to qualify last year, but the qualifications were changed to three this season. Class C skiers must be certified competent to race by an inspector.
