Information gathered from civil rights project this summer may be to set up a Harvard civil rights project in the South next fall, according to the Reverend Richard E. Mumma, a member of the United Ministry Harvard. The project, as Mumma envisions it , would involve an association between Harvard and a southern college Harvard volunteers doing civil rights work in a community near the southern school. He said, however, that the project is still "in the idea stage." Mumma's suggestion came after a held Saturday by representatives from the United Ministry, the Young , and the Civil Rights Coordinating Committee (CRCC) to organize program to disseminate information summer project. At the close of the meeting, Harold A. McDougall '67, president of CRCC, announced that his organization will take responsibility for providing information about summer projects planned organizations which endorse CRCC. CRCC is planning a series of symposiums, be held in the next few weeks, at which representatives from national and civil rights groups will discuss their projects, and inform students about how they may participate in them.
