LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
The Harvard lacrosse team will encounter rough going in today's game against Brown at Providence.
The Bruins have won their first three Ivy League games. In the past week they've beaten Yale and Dartmouth, and earlier in the season they belted Penn, 12-7.
Penn clobbered Harvard 13-3 last Saturday to give you some idea of the Crimson's chances against the powerful Bruins.
However, Crimson Coach Bruce Munro has said that he has been working the team hard to straighten out a lot of the mistakes it made against Penn.
Rick Loomis should return to the defensive corps which sorely missed his presence last Saturday. Dave Davis and Captain Dan Calderwood will round out the starting defense.
If the defense plays its usual good game and goalie Ron Wilson recovers from shellshock, Harvard could spring an upset. The Bruins just might be thinking too much about their Saturday game with Princeton. That match will probably decide the Ivy title.
