'Esquire' Bares Sex at Harvard; Say It Ain't So!

Boys and girls sometimes live together nowadays, the current issue of Esquire magazine reveals. It even happens in Cambridge.

Esquire made this disclosure in an umpteen-page section about what we hip college youths are up to, and even provided photographic proof.

Pictured in the magazine are Paul Mattick Jr., a three-piece-suity graduate student, and Anne McConnell '67, who embodies all that is good about Radcliffe.

They live together. "The parents who knew made no objection; Harvard didn't seem to care," said Esquire. "He cooks, she irons and they do the laundry together."

Cantabridgians have fun in other ways. Esquire's resume of Harvard activities:

"Kick: scaling the tallest buildings in the Yard. Pot: $30 an ounce, 2 1/2-3 1/2 years or up to $1000 (for a first offense). Liquor: 21, but the campus is wet...Hippie Hangout: the Bick, the Blue Parrot. Law and Order: Councilman Al Vellucci (considered a paper tiger)."
