HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
Ten years after the nascent age of Camelot began sending shivers down the spines of Washington socialites, a Harvard man will soon once again animate the cold councils and dark corridors of the White House. Edward Finch Cox, a Harvard Law student, is marrying Tricia Nixon on June 5, her parents announced last night.
President and Mrs. Nixon announced their daughter's plans at a White House dinner party celebrating the first lady's 59th birthday, on the eve of St. Patrick's Day. Irish dances, champagne, and 300 guests, including the prime minister of Ireland, turned the occasion into a presidential spectacular.
Cox, a former Nader's Raider, and the President's daughter will be married in the White House in a religious ceremony.
