Members of the African Research Group will march tonight at the Harvard Club protesting the Portuguese Ambassador's presentation at the Club of the Grand Cross of the Military Order of Portugal to Archbishop of Boston Medeiros.

The ARG contends that the Catholic Church supports the Portuguese presence in Africa and enforces "white domination in the name of its civilizing mission."

The award comes at a time when Harvard is under severe criticism for its stock in Gulf Oil, which has some holdings in Portugal.

The protest begins tonight at 7:30
