NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Charles D. Thompson '47, a businessman and fund raiser, has been named a University development officer who will specialize in raising money from corporations and foundations.

Thompson comes here after five years at Syracuse University, where he was the Director of Corporation and Foundation Programs. While he was in office, the annual support from private foundations tripled at Syracuse.
