Faculty of Arts and Sciences administrators last week discussed the possibility of sending Dean Rosovsky's long-awaited letter on undergraduate education (see story above) to all undergraduates, but decided against it.

John B. Fox Jr. '59, special assistant to Rosovsky, said this week that the administration decided the letter was too long, too complicated, too faculty-oriented and too technical to be of general interest to undergraduates.

Rosovsky's office instead plans to send the letter to all students on committees that have anything to do with undergraduate education--including House Committees.
