Cornell Drubs Stickmen, 17-4

The Harvard lacrosse team traveled all the way to Ithaca yesterday only to get drubbed. 17.4, by the Big Red of Cornell.

Cornell, the second ranked team in the country, quickly took apart the Crimson as it opened with six goals in each of the first two periods.

Harvard scored all four of its goals in the first half. Bruce Bruckmann connected on one goal and one assist. Bill McKenzne Kevin McCall, and Bill Tennis each scored a single goal for the Crimson.

Goalie LeRov Thompson was the mainstay on defense for Harvard as he made 18 saves on Cornell shots.
