CELTICS LOSE TO CLEVELAND, 110-82

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Boston Celtics must have thought they were playing the Washington Bullets last night as they put on a horrendous performance usually reserved for their opponents from the capital.

The Cleveland Cavaliers were the recipients of the Celtic kindness as they trounced the men in green 110-82.

Austin Carr and Jim Chones led the way for Cleveland throwing in 26 points in the third period. The Cavs are now one game ahead of the Celtics in the race for the fifth Eastern Conference playoff position.
