Writing sports for The Crimson is the first step on the road to fame and fortune.

Great Crimson sportswriters have gone on to grand achievements after their tenure in the Cube. Dedicated Cubesters, like the one pictured at the left, have fulfilled their dreams thanks to the knowledge and experience they gained with The Crimson.

In fact, some of our Cube graduates have become monuments in American society. Abe Lincoln, pictured to the right, never wrote for the Cube; but if he had his statue might not have been hidden on the porch of a building.

We'll teach you the finer points of sportswriting--not just the basics. You'll learn what it means to produce comprehensive, thoughtful sports coverage, and you'll have a great time doing it.

Winter is the best time to take advantage of the Harvard sports offerings. With 13 varsity sports plus a myriad of J.V., freshman and intramural teams, this season is the most active one in the Cube. And you can be a part of it all.

Introductory Meetings, Wednesday and Thursday 8 p.m. in the Cube, 14 Plympton St. Free refreshments
