LONDON--In a major concession, guerilla leaders at the Zimbabwe Rhodesia peace talks agreed to British demands giving the white minority initially 20 per cent of the seats in a new Parliament.
The turnaround raised British hopes for an agreement on a new constitution by the end of the week.
The Patriotic Front guerrilla alliance said, however, that their concessions depend on the London conference agreeing to replace incumbent Prime Minister Muzorewa with a transition administration.
